The article presents the results of studying the influence of imagination on the emotional sphere of younger schoolchildren. The obtained data of the experiment allow to conclude that the levels of development of creative imagination of younger schoolboys is not sufficiently developed. In addition to the emotional sphere inflated figures of negative emotions. Implementation of the program for the development of creative imagination contributed to not only improve imaging, but also had a positive impact on the emotional sphere of younger schoolchildren. Students decreased the experience of negative emotions (such as anger, fear, sadness), positive emotions (joy) has increased. Thus, the development of the imagination, improves the emotional state of younger schoolchildren. Keywords: imagination; emotional sphere; younger schoolchildren; the level of development.
