The article is devoted to the problem of confrontation of two system-psychological trends dealing with focusing on personal or social values in architecture. In the XXth century these trends are embodied in the architecture of modernism and constructivism. The article also presents the results of empirical studies of emotional perception of architectural styles in students of Moscow city and it suggests recommendations how to use modern architecture elements in the construction of different buildings for youths. The article provides an overview of macroergonomics as a new paradigm of ergonomics based mainly on English-language articles. The background of its occurrence, basic concepts, statements and methods of macroergonomics as well as modern state, personalities and an example of the specific macroergonomic case of safety culture forming are considered. It is demonstrated that the macroergonomics has arisen as result of through-boundaries development of the traditional subject of ergonomics and shows a clear trend to integration with organizational psychology. The necessity of development of the systemic-theoretical model of macroergonomics is specified and the ergatic system is considered as proper one.
