GENERAL AND DIFFERENT IN PSYCHOLOGICAL THEORIES OF PERSONALITY AND MOTIVATION

The article raises and discusses the question on the possibility to equate psychological theories about personality and motivation to each other. The analysis focuses on foreign personality theories, representing psychoanalytic, humanistic, factor and analytic and cognitive areas. It is shown that personality theories can’t be equated to motivation theories.
